CURVES AHEAD!
Instructor: Saundra Cindrich - 801.224.9321 or e-mail
Class Time: Day
Skill Level: All
Kit: $2.00 kit
Class Description: You loved learning to piece the traditional Drunkard's Path block now take it a step beyond and create a shallower curve that transforms a simple Jacob's Ladder block into something spectacular! I'll also show you three variations using other blocks and settings that you're sure to fall in love with. Roxanne's Glue-Baste-It glue makes this a super easy block to piece and all without pins!
Supplies: BSK, ultra fine black permanent marker, something to mark on dark fabric with - I suggest a Clover white marking pen, flower pins, good sharp scissors (you can use either scissors or a small rotary cutter to cut the curved shapes and might want to try each one to see which works better for you. I particularly like the very small 18mm Olfa rotary cutter for this project.), neutral thread, rotary cutter with sharp blade (large is okay for cutting strips but the small one is better for the curves), seam ripper with sharp, thin blade, 6" Omnigrid square ruler or a 6" x 12" acrylic ruler, and Roxanne's Glue-Baste-It (This is a must. If you can't find this product please call me and I'll pick it up for you).
