Fabric requirements:
- 1 yard or scraps equivalent to 1 yard - background
- ¼ yard or scraps - chickens, basket and stars
- ¼ yd - first border
- Black embroidery floss for antennae
- lots of scraps (from chickens, basket and stars) - outside border
